I reserve the right to turn down any commission request, or to terminate an order in progress at any time; terminated orders will be fully refunded.
Refunds are only available on request before any work has begun on your order.
Any work I create is for private/free use ONLY.
While I allow finished commissions to be cropped or scaled to fit layouts, icons, etc., please do not directly alter the artwork itself.
By commissioning me, you agree that I will be allowed to post the finished product online as I see fit; however, I will of course honor any requests to keep commissions private, or simply anonymous.
PLACING AN ORDER
Before placing an order, please make sure you have the following:
Character reference. While a detailed, drawn reference is preferable, I don't mind working from things like text descriptions and/or reference photos, so long as they are sufficiently detailed. HOWEVER, please do not send me an existing character or artwork with the intent to copy directly from it.
A small description or idea of who the character is or what you want them to be doing. It doesn't have to be hugely detailed; just enough of an idea of their personality to know what would be appropriate to draw--of course, the more detailed your idea/description, the easier it will likely be to draw.
If ordering something with a detailed background, please be as descriptive as possible.
Any other detail you're able to provide is great; everything helps, and there's no such thing as too much.
Please also have payment available. Partial payment is allowed, but an order will not be added to the active queue until at least half of the total amount is paid, and will not progress past a sketch until the full amount owed is received. Orders that are already just sketches must be paid in full up front.
PROCESS
After the details of the commission have been confirmed and the invoice paid, the order is placed into the active queue, available for viewing at all times here. I work in order from first to last on a mostly first-come, first-serve basis, so if there is an existing queue ahead of you, there will likely be a wait time before I get to your order.
Once I start your order, I will begin with working on a sketch of what you requested, which is then sent to you for approval. You may request edits to the sketch if there are errors or other changes you'd like to see, or you may request a new sketch at no extra fee. Please be aware that any large-scale edits should be requested at this stage, as while I do make edits in the later stages of a piece, that is for only small edits, color correction, etc. Compositions and poses are largely locked in after the sketch is fully approved, so please do be absolutely sure you like what you see.
After the sketch is approved, I will move on to finishing the commission. Generally speaking I will send at least one progress shot, usually when lining and simple colors are finished, sometimes more if the piece is more detailed. Naturally, however, with simpler commissions, there likely won't be a lot of progress to share between initially sketching and the finished product.
When finished, I will send you the full working resolution file as a .PNG. By default, I don't send raw layered files, but if so requested I don't mind sending them along too (I work in Clip Studio, so by default, these will be .CLIP files. If you'd like them as .SAI or .PSD files, please specify). At this point, you're still free to request edits, but as mentioned before, these must be simple edits only. Things like a miscolored part of the design, or perhaps a small detail you didn't realize was missing earlier such as jewelry or markings.
